The old saying “out of sight, out of mind” shouldn’t apply when you’re selling a property, according to our General Manager, James Robinson.

When Homes and Property magazine interviewed James for an article on sprucing up a home for sale, he suggested “you may want to spend a few hundred pounds on things which aren’t just yours, but could make a massive difference to a buyer’s first impression“. In addition to undertaking a thorough house clean, he believes vendors should pay to clear unsightly rubbish from their street – even if the mess isn’t actually visible from their property.
