‘Pricing varies according to building type, micro location – particularly for mews houses, square footage, and aspect; any roof terraces or outdoor space will always command a premium rental value when it comes to a mews property.
We’ve experienced a spike in the number of applicants registering, largely triggered by the introduction of the Renters’ Right Act 2026 legislation. The new changes to the law mean tenants aren’t tied into a fixed term and have greater flexibility to move, consequently applicants are registering to look “opportunistically”.
During this time of the year, particularly given the heatwaves we’re experiencing, outdoor space is more of a priority. For the majority of applicants, it’s a high quality of finish that is the most important driver and it’s the well-presented rental properties that are still going quickly.
Our advice to applicants is to be flexible on viewing times.
