We are always asked what is most important to consider when preparing to let a property so please read carefully:

  • Know your budget. What is your ideal budget and maximum budget?
  • What aspect of the property you want to rent is negotiable? What is non-negotiable?
  • What referencing will you provide? Landlords are especially keen on excellent references in the current economic climate. You may need to be prepared to pay 6 months in advance if you cannot provide adequate references
  • Be ready to move – ensure you have given the necessary notice to your current Landlord/Agent. If a property is available now, a Landlord will not wait two months for you to move.
