Hyde Park Gardens parking spot on the market for £300,000

A parking spot (pictured below) situated in Hyde Park Gardens, just behind the beautiful Hyde Park Gardens Mews, has gone on the market for £300,000.

The 11 ft x 21ft space is being sold on a 91-year lease.

Hpg-ParkingThe Hyde Park Gardens parking spaces value stands at £1,298/sq.ft. This makes it just over a thousand pound cheaper than the record mews house pound per square foot price, which is held by us, and was achieved when we sold a mews house in Ennismore Gardens Mews.

The open air space is being marketed for more than some apartments in the same area. This highlights just how valuable a commodity parking space is in Central London and how lucky many mews house owners are that their properties often come with garages or on street parking. It is also indicative of the severe lack of parking space that is available in Central London.

Here is a handy bit of information for any prospective buyers of the aforementioned space. If you were to use the space every day for the whole 91 years (a highly unlikely scenario we know but hear us out) it would work out costing you £9 per day. All joking aside that is not a bad price for parking right next to one of the world’s most famous parks.
