Wigmore Place is a cobbled cul de sac mews of 20 properties running north from Wigmore Street just West of Harley Street in the Conservation Area in Westminster. The street is lined with terraced mews houses of different periods and retains a substantial medical presence.
Mews History
In 1940, a high German bomb fell near Harley Street, to the east of the Mews. When the London Poverty Maps were published, the area was noted as having comfortable living conditions with average household salaries.
