Stanhope Mews South is a highly desirable cobbled cul-de-sac in South Kensington, SW7, situated between Stanhope Gardens and Hereford Square within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Built between approximately 1860 and 1870, the mews was originally created to provide stables, coach houses and accommodation for coachmen and domestic staff serving the grander properties around Stanhope Gardens, Hereford Square and Gloucester Road. The mews has also developed an interesting connection with popular culture, featuring as a backdrop in the 2014 film Kingsman: The Secret Service, where it represented the home of Colin Firth’s character, Harry Hart.
