Royal Crescent Mews, Notting Hill, London, W11

Royal Crescent Mews is a part-cobbled residential cul-de-sac off Queensdale Road, positioned on the border of Notting Hill and Holland Park close to the Shepherd’s Bush area. The mews has evolved considerably over the years, with much of the original architecture replaced by modern-style properties, including homes constructed during the 1980s and further development completed in 2005-06. A small number of period properties remain, adding a touch of historic character to the otherwise more contemporary setting. The location has also featured on television, with Royal Crescent Mews reportedly used as a filming location for two episodes of The Sweeney.

The position of Royal Crescent Mews provides easy access to the extensive amenities of Notting Hill, Holland Park and Shepherd’s Bush. Holland Park Avenue offers a range of independent shops, cafés and restaurants, while the open spaces and landscaped gardens of Holland Park are nearby. Westfield London is also within easy reach, providing an extensive selection of shops, dining and leisure facilities. Transport connections are excellent, with Holland Park Underground Station on the Central line and Shepherd’s Bush Station providing access to the Central line and London Overground. The nearby A40 also offers convenient road connections towards central London and westwards.
