McLeods Mews was renamed in 1911 in honour of Sir Donald McLeod, local resident, formerly of the Punjab, who unfortunately met his end while attempting to board a moving train at Gloucester Road station. It is small mews situated just of off Emperor’s Gate and conveniently located for the numerous shopping and transport facilities offered by Gloucester Road.
