Originally built to provide stables and coach houses for the grander properties on Gloucester Place, Huntsworth Mews has evolved into a mix of residential homes and commercial premises, with 34 properties lining the street. Its history also reflects the impact of the Second World War, when a high-explosive bomb struck the mews directly, causing significant damage and making rebuilding necessary. Today, Huntsworth Mews retains its connection to London’s architectural heritage while serving a variety of modern purposes.
