You’re never far from a perfectly crafted coffee in West London
Although we are famed as a nation of tea drinkers, our love affair with coffee shows no sign of diminishing
Finding a brilliant brew has become such a pilgrimage that there are now apps that guide you to the best coffee shops in London. We’re glad to say that living in West London certainly has its perks, with artisan cafes and experienced baristas firing up Nuova Simonelli coffee machines on every street corner. W1 residents could simply step out of their mews house or garden square apartment and follow their nose to find their next caffeine fix but they can also use the London’s Best Coffee app to find a cafe near them.It was great to see a Lurot Brand personal favourite make the app list, with Taylor Street Baristas in Mayfair getting a great write up. This cafe nestles between the attractive buildings on Brooks Mews, and we’re known to stop off for a take-out espresso between viewings and valuations.
Hidden down a mews behind Claridge’s, Taylor Street’s Mayfair location is their most laid back spot in London. Both the staff (hipsters) and the customers (hedge fund managers) seem to be enjoying themselves, but the coffee is still taken seriously.
