Right Place, Right Time!

2012 has started off in a buoyant mood for central London lettings. If you are looking to rent immediately you will find that there is an excellent selection of properties available especially if you have a good budget. Spring is traditionally a time of great activity in Lettings and now is no exception but a word of caution is necessary if you are looking for a one or two bedroom property at the £400-£800 per week level – you will find this is the most competitive sector right now.

catThanks to the global economic uncertainty Tenants like yourself are re-considering their budgets and downsizing them whilst increasing expectations. With relocation agents also reporting a general reduction in the housing allowances for corporate Tenants there is definitely a necessity to be committed to proceeding quickly. Here at Lurot Brand our ARLA qualified team of negotiators will be happy to help you navigate through the Lettings process as efficiently as possible and have access to not only our own database of instructions but also almost every other property currently available across central London and our reach is spreading thanks to our novel and ongoing ‘Hidden Gems’ campaign.

Our advice is:

  • Know your budget and exactly what you are prepared to spend
  • Know your requirements – what is negotiable and what is not?
  • Do your homework – the internet and the wide variety of London magazines will give you a better idea of what is out there and help establish your likes and dislikes
  • Have your references ready – in these financially straightened times, Landlords are particularly keen on excellent references. If you are self-employed, a student or moving to the UK for the first time you may well have to pay your rent upfront.
  • Be prepared to proceed – if you like it, take it. Make a sensible offer and we will take it from there.
