You enter Hyde Park Gardens Mews through an attractive brick arch. This mews is a long, open street of mostly two-storey cottages, whose facades vary from Victorian to modern, with various stages in between.

The absence of neighbouring tall buildings here makes one almost forget that this is in the centre of one of the world’s largest cities. The many potted plants and uninterrupted cobbles give the feeling of Provence, and there are a number of interesting decorative details to look at.

The mews appears on the 1847 map, but was neglected by the directories.
