This mews was blighted until 2001 with huge garaging belonging to the Post Office. In 2001, St. Georges Estate commenced a major development of spacious houses which has seen the mews transformed into a most attractive street.

A few properties in this mews feature stone pineapple ornaments, these were often installed on property exteriors to signify the wealth of the inhabitants. You had to be awfully rich to be able to eat pineapple!
