Elnathan Mews, Maida Vale, London, W9

Elnathan Mews is in the heart of Little Venice, directly off Formosa Street and close to the famous “Clifton Nurseries”. The majority of this mews was sold by the Church Commissioners for redevelopment in 1985. It is rumoured that the properties, having failed to sell, were let to the local council for the homeless. Unfortunately, by the time the freeholders regained possession of the houses, they were pretty much trashed. The houses were then refurbished and all were sold during 1995. This is a most attractive mews which won our Mews in Bloom competition in 2006.
